This doll house which was made in the early 1800s. It was bought by Mrs Winifred Alice Hibberd from a shop in St. John’s Wood High Street, London in 1965 for £60. It is an engaging example of the minituare artist’s craft. Many of the furnishings have been added in modern times. Building and furnishing doll houses is great play and the following videos show that the doll house hobby is alive and well.

Deb says on her website: “I believe that creativity is all about the journey, not the destination. I’m never quite sure where my art is going to take me until the project has ended, but I always love the trip!  The main purpose of my website is to share the journey with others who love miniatures as much as I do.” If you love doll houses and miniatures then her site will be a treat. She also has a wonderful blog that you can link to from the website at  http://www.debsminis.com/.
